Oplatek produces moulded optic components, lenses and prisms. Moulded optics require reasonable quantities due to the cost of the moulding tools. When quantities reach hundreds or thousands, moulded optics are cost-efficient in comparison to grinded optics. Moulded optics are suitable for projecting and collective optics. We produce among others, airfield runway light prisms. The most common glass type for moulded optics is borosilicate glass
