Our new grinding center is up and running! Investment in automated manufacturing pays off in faster production and higher quality, thus, further increasing our capacity. In fact, our capacity in molded glass components has now doubled. Last year we made investments in glass molding and crafting machinery. This year we will further develop our thin film coating production by investing in a new thin film coating system.
Oplatek has started co-operation with a Japanese distributor FT Okura, that represents American and European high tech products in Japan. FT Okura has extensive experience over working with Finnish companies and in the field of photonics. We are looking forward to extending our business to Japanese market and serving customers globally.

Our business is growing, and so are the premises! We are building new offices to accommodate all our new employees. With the new spaces we will be able to serve our customers even better. The building is scheduled to be ready later this year.
The major industrial fair in Finland, the Subcontracting Fair, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
